Some say that facilitation is like a superpower.
For me, that superpower is my ability to support groups and individuals in achieving their goals — to help all voices get heard, disagreements to be aired, ideas to be gathered and tested, time to be used effectively, group consensus to be reached, teams to grow stronger, decisions to be made.
I bring that superpower when I serve my clients in the role of facilitator, communicator, trainer, consultant, and coach.
With years of diversified experience in facilitating both large and small workshops for corporate, government, and non-profit clients, I’ve led workshops focused on visioning, organizational change readiness, business requirements, team building, process modeling and improvement, issue resolution, and more.
Having delivered thousands of hours of facilitation training, both in person and virtually, I get excited when my participants recognize that superpower in themselves. That with even a few simple changes, they can be more effective in leading their meetings and managing their teams.
One of the five founders of INIFAC, I am also a member of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF), and have earned the designation of Certified Professional Facilitator|Emeritus. I co-authored “The Big Picture: Creating an Ongoing Client Relationship” chapter in The IAF Handbook of Group Facilitation, and published The Facilitator, a quarterly professional newsletter for 15 years.
