Elba is an Industrial and Systems Engineer from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico and holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. She has several certifications in project management and quality. She recently graduated Harvard Business School completing programs in leadership, entrepreneurship and human capital management.
She’s the founder of Welk Consulting Group that specializes in creating a link between the university graduates and companies seeking talent. With this purpose she has developed the Momentum Program.
Before working in consulting, Elba worked in a variety of roles and industries. Her experience at the corporate world includes manufacturing, IT, logistics, insurance and financial services. Within these segments she performed in creating and implementing complex change initiatives, corporate strategy, program administration and continuous improvement. She has developed the skills to bring together high performing teams.
Elba has great passion for learning but also for teaching and her energy is contagious. She’s always seeking for improvement opportunities, questioning the status quo and finding ways to make things better; her mission is understanding the skillset of each individual and helping teams and organizations attain their maximum reach.
